Death and Marauding c/o TOM

Death and marauding reign supreme for TOM today. Part one, death. An ICE officer shot and killed an innocent American citizen in the streets of Minneapolis. We all saw this coming. We all knew this would happen. And TOM and Kristi No-Heart-Em’s first response was not one of condolences and sympathies for the loss of life. Of course not. It was to immediately assess blame to the innocent, dead woman. They may as well have said “she had it coming.” Needless to the governor and the mayor are beyond livid. With the Mayor saying right pout in front of Gad and the world, “Get the fuck out of Minneapolis.” Yes. That. And while you’re at it, TOM. Get the fuck out of our country.

“The president, in a social media posting, said he’d viewed video footage of the incident and criticized the woman who was shot as acting “very disorderly, obstructing and resisting” and “then violently, willfully, and viciously” running over the ICE officer. Homeland Security Secretary Noem commented on the fatal ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis and claimed that the woman shot engaged in an "act of domestic terrorism" by trying to target officers with her car.” Just disgusting. But not at all a surprise. There’s not one shred of evidence or investigation that’s occurred and they are casting the net of blame. Unconscionable.

The aftermath of George Floyd’s killing will be nothing compared to the eruption that is going to happen on the streets of Minneapolis if ICE is not immediately taken out of the city. Gov Walz has already called in the actual MN National Guard (versus those that were imported to various cities across our country). Which is of course the appropriate use of the National Guard. Pleas to not “take the bait” that TOM and No-heart-em are tossing out from Walz and the Mayor are likely to go unheeded. People. Are. Enraged.  

Part two, marauding. Seizure of two more Venezuelan oil tankers last night. “President Donald Trump’s administration on Wednesday sought to assert its control over Venezuelan oil, seizing a pair of sanctioned tankers transporting petroleum and announcing plans to relax some sanctions so the U.S. can oversee the sale of Venezuela’s petroleum worldwide.” TOM is now the pirate of the Western Hemisphere. I can see him at the prow of a Nacy ship with his sward drawn, one booted foot upon the gunwale, with a maniacal grin on his orange face. “That level of control over the world’s largest proven reserves of crude oil could give the Trump administration a broader hold on oil supplies globally in ways that could enable it to influence prices. Both moves reflect the Republican administration’s determination to make good on its effort to control the next steps in Venezuela through its vast oil resources after Trump has pledged the U.S. will “run” the country.”

Though certainly not on the same level of severity and seriousness, R Fraud Kennedy’s “Health” Department is now urging people to eat more meat and full-fat dairy. Great. Now we will have generations of people with atherosclerosis and stroke coming along. Super. “The Trump administration is urging Americans to embrace full-fat dairy products, cook with beef tallow and eat more protein in a new set of directives shaped by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Make America Healthy Again campaign. While the guidelines aren’t broadly followed by consumers, they shape federal food procurement for schools and the military as well as the dietary advice that physicians give their patients.”
