Co-Pres, Musky is off trying to purchase the Supreme Court in Wisconsin. And quickly retracted a “I’ll pay you for your vote” ad on X and re-wrote it to some slithery, not-quite-illegal side step of the very explicit law that prohibits paying someone to vote, or not vote. Why may you ask would Musky be so interested in the WISC? Wellll, could one reason be that it is illegal for there to be any Tesla dealerships in WI? (There and many other states as well). Me thinks yes? The law is not specifically against Tesla (wouldn’t that be grand) but against manufacturers selling vehicles, versus independent 3rd parties. “Tesla, where Musk holds the CEO role, has been fighting to overturn a Wisconsin law that prohibits it from opening dealerships in that state. The legislation that's currently on the books requires car dealerships to be owned by third parties, not auto manufacturers.” He’s gonna have a lot of voting to pay for if he plans to hit every state with this law. There are currently 14. And most of those are in the south and southeast. How conflicted will they be by this? Support the poor little struggling one-man car dealership in town or let them get gutted by TOM’s Co-Pres? Oh, the angst and moral dilemma….
And a teaser alert for coming shenanigans…..The Third Term. Yup. He’s serious about it. And they’re already tossing out strategies to see which stick and which get shot down (so they can then think up more). I mean really, kids. Don’t tell him it’s a bad idea to try something that will fail. Say nothing. Let him do it and then….FAIL.
The pissing contest between TOM and Putin continues. It’s like watching a playground fight play out. Don’t call me this. Don’t call me that. I can do this. You can’t do that. Remind anyone else of King of the Hill?
And TOM
continues to tank all of our 401k’s with his “Liberation Day” tariffs. I’m
still scratching my head on exactly who is being liberated? This one is really
baffling to me. I really want to know the genius who came up with that moniker.
Cause. Not flying, bud. Also they should have checked prior usage (and maybe copyrights?), because it's a movie. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberation_Day_(film)
