Nearly completely left out of the sideshows of TOM’s circus is one of the little known secretaries, Sean Duffy of Tranpo. Yah. The guy who replaced Mayor Pete. And here’s his take on doing his master’s bidding.
“On Thursday, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy issued a memo saying that the Trump administration will prioritize areas with higher marriage and birth rates when it decides where to dole out transportation funding.” So let’s be clear. If we want good roads, we need to have babies? “The memo says Trump's DOT will "give preference to communities with marriage and birth rates higher than the national average." The memo added that the policy will also apply to how the administration will administer the Federal Transit Administration's Capital Investment Grants program, which "funds transit capital investments, including heavy rail, commuter rail, light rail, streetcars, and bus rapid transit,” according to the DOT.”
Musky must love this guy! Right up his alley with his 12 -14 (still undetermined) kids, The Big Duff has NINE kids. I get it. You have to drive a lot with that many kids, so you need more roads to drive on. Right? Sure. We’ll go with that logic.
With April Fool’s Day, (aka TOM’s Official Holiday) right around the corner, seems only fitting that some pretty funny things are coming out of his mouth (and pen). “President Donald Trump says Wednesday will be “Liberation Day” — a moment when he plans to roll out a set of tariffs that he promises will free the United States from foreign goods.” Liberation Day…..let me get this straight. The tariffs he will impose which will lead to higher costs on everything we buy are going to liberate us? From….??? I think he doesn’t quite understand the meaning of the word.
TOM is also pissed that Putin is stealing his head bully of the world status. “In an early Sunday morning phone interview with NBC News, Trump was referencing comments Putin made Friday about temporarily putting Ukraine under external governance. Trump said he was “angry, pissed off” when Putin “started getting into Zelenskyy’s credibility.”
Putin repeated his claim that Zelenskyy, whose term expired last year, lacks the legitimacy to sign a peace deal. Under Ukraine’s constitution it is illegal for the country to hold national elections while it’s under martial law.” I’m pretty sure TOM said the exact same thing about Zelenskyy not even 4 weeks ago. It’s ok for TOM to make sleights about people but when someone else steals his thunder and gets more out of the jab than he could, the gauntlet is thrown.
