Merry Merry everyone. Here we are coming into the end of year one and the playbook is forever pivoting under TOM. Though he has some go-to’s, there seems to be no end of variations on a theme when it comes to deception, debauchery, and disgusting actions
There was one minor Christmas miracle. The annual Christmas Eve Jazz concert at the Kennedy Center was cancelled. By the performer. After more than twenty years of the annual tradition. And we all know why boys and girls. Yup. Wouldn’t perform in a building that is now illegally named. The xxxx and JFK Center for the Performing Arts. “A planned Christmas Eve jazz concert at the Kennedy Center, a holiday tradition dating back more than 20 years, has been canceled. The show’s host, musician Chuck Redd, says that he called off the performance in the wake of the White House announcing last week that President Donald Trump’s name would be added to the facility. “When I saw the name change on the Kennedy Center website and then hours later on the building, I chose to cancel our concert,” Redd told The Associated Press in an email Wednesday. Redd, a drummer and vibraphone player who has toured with everyone from Dizzy Gillespie to Ray Brown, has been presiding over holiday “Jazz Jams” at the Kennedy Center since 2006, succeeding bassist William “Keter” Betts.” Thank you sir, for your ethics, sanity, and standing in your truth.
I’d love a modern day version of A Christmas Carol. To be in the room when the ghosts of Christmases past, present, and future visit TOM at Mar A Lago. Dicken’s description of Scrooge is on point for TOM. “s "a squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, clutching, covetous old sinner!" Yes! The only difference with the original is that in no way shape or form will TOM ever transform himself from lessons learned. Because he doesn’t. Learn. Until the man is actually sitting behind bars somewhere (and even then, he’ll be fomenting revolution, treason, and anarchy) not a single event or a conglomeration of them will force him to change. When one believes that one is God and King, one believes that they can do no wrong. Per Tiny Tim, “God bless us, everyone.”
