Cheney’s funeral was today. And in what was a fabulous internationally witnessed snub, neither TOM nor J Darth Vance were invited. And I loved every minute of it. There is no more doing things because they are the proper things to do. I hope with every fiber in my being that on his death bed Cheney said to all gathered, “Do not let those a$$holes come to my funeral.” And they listened. Public humiliation at its absolute best and to two people who could not deserve it more. I really warmed to Cheney ever since he backed Kamala. And we used to think he was the evilest R on the planet. Oh do we long for those days now.
TOM had some other things to attend to anyway. Like getting the National Guard out of DC, per judge’s orders. “A federal judge on Thursday ordered the Trump administration to end its monthslong deployment of National Guard troops to help police the nation’s capital.
U.S. District Judge Jia Cobb concluded that President Donald Trump’s military takeover in Washington, D.C., violates the Constitution and illegally intrudes on local officials’ authority to direct law enforcement in the district. She put her order on hold for 21 days to allow for an appeal, however.”
The latest fly to get pulled into the TOM spider web Oval Office meetup is none other than Zohran Mamdani. Wow. There could be some incredible fireworks. From both sides! “President Donald Trump said late Wednesday that the long-awaited meeting with New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani would happen in Washington later this week, setting up an in-person clash between the political polar opposites who for months have antagonized each other from afar.
The sit-down, which Trump said on social media would take place Friday in the Oval Office, could possibly represent a detente of sorts between the Republican president and Democratic rising star, as Trump has since Mamdani’s win moved toward acceptance of Mamdani’s central, winning campaign issue of affordability. But following the November election — in which Republicans lost badly in Georgia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia — Trump has spoken more about affordability, which had been a focal point across Democrats’ campaigns, including Mamdani’s, even declaring Friday in a social media post that the GOP is the “Party of Affordability!” This comes as the president and his fellow Republicans insist the economy has never been stronger.” TOM needs to work on his chameleon game. Because he’s very very very bad at it. Everyone sees through the sham of trying to run away from the albatross of the economy that is around his neck.
