TOMs the worst boyfriend ever. His on again off again relationship with the entire world is so last year. We are low key over it, buddy. But like a train wreck (or a dumpster fire) we just can’t help but stare. Seems China is once again “on” (in a a good way). “The US has reached a framework agreement with China to avoid imposing an additional 100% tariff on Chinese imports, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said in interviews this morning.

• The apparent progress comes during the first leg of President Donald Trump’s diplomacy tour in Asia, easing tensions before this week’s highly anticipated meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping. Beyond trade talk, Trump is expected to urge Xi to join the US pressure campaign against Russia. U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said talks on the sidelines of the ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur had eliminated the threat of Trump's 100% tariffs on Chinese imports starting November 1. Bessent also said he expects China to delay implementation of its rare earth minerals and magnets licensing regime by a year while the policy is reconsidered. Chinese officials were more circumspect about the talks and offered no details about the outcome of the meetings.” Well obviously they’d be less enthusiastic. Once bitten, five times shy. TOM has officially turned parts of the country into internment camps. There will be no food aid beginning Nov. 1 due to the gov shutdown. Somehow we can manage to find buddies to pay the military because, of course, we are now the US of War, but we cannot feed people who are starving in our country?!? What ultimate madness and shamefulness is this? “The U.S. Department of Agriculture has posted a notice on its website saying federal food aid will not go out Nov. 1, raising the stakes for families nationwide as the government shutdown drags on.

The new notice comes after the Trump administration said it would not tap roughly $5 billion in contingency funds to keep benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, commonly referred to as SNAP, flowing into November. That program helps about 1 in 8 Americans buy groceries.

“Bottom line, the well has run dry,” the USDA notice says. “At this time, there will be no benefits issued November 01. We are approaching an inflection point for Senate Democrats.” Talk about holding people hostage. Hamas has nothing on TOM. Honestly, tell me how this is any different that what has been going on in the Middle East? The funds are there to continue to let people eat, but NO the R’s have to take the citizens of this country hostage, and starve them, to extort votes from the D’s that will further demolish the safety and health of those who struggle financially in our country. OUR CITIZENS. The majority of whom are people in red states who likely voted this demon onto his throne.
