Someone in this country is still exercising their free speech. The statue of
TOM and Epstein has re-emerged on the National Mall. ICYMI:
“A statue depicting President Donald Trump and the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein reappeared Thursday on the National Mall amid the government shutdown.
The bronze-colored figures — shown holding hands and each with one leg lifted in the air — were first installed last week but removed by U.S. Park Police on Sept. 24. The statue, titled “Best Friends Forever,” includes a plaque that reads: “In honor of friendship month, we celebrate the long-standing bond between President Donald J. Trump and his closest friend Jeffrey Epstein.” This is friggin phenomenal. I love whoever is bankrolling this. Because getting this set up and moved around and even constructed? Both genius and not cheap. And with the gov shutdown, no Park Service employees to remove it so quickly.
Finally an L for TOM in the courts. “A federal appeals court in Boston ruled on Friday that the Trump administration cannot withhold citizenship from children born to people in the country illegally or temporarily, adding to the mounting legal setbacks for the president’s birthright order.
A three-judge panel of the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals became the fifth federal court since June to either issue or uphold orders blocking the president’s birthright order. The court concluded that the plaintiffs are likely to succeed on their claims that the children described in the order are entitled to birthright citizenship under the Citizenship Clause of the 14th Amendment.” And yet, TOM will still not get the message. He will continue to appeal – and go to his personal court, SCOTUS (firing judges as he goes) - until he gets the outcome he wants.
