TOMs cooking the books; or at least finding ways to get numbers he likes

Aug 7, 2025 (199/1461)

We are quickly learning that when TOM doesn’t like numbers, any numbers, he simply finds a way to get numbers he likes. Firing the head of the department that oversees job numbers. And the latest and greatest…..let’s have a census mid decade! It’s literally in the Constitution that the census takes place every 10 years. “With preparations for the 2030 census already underway, President Trump said Thursday he has instructed his administration to start work on a "new" census.

In a social media post, Trump also called for an unprecedented exclusion of millions of people living in the U.S. without legal status.

The 14th Amendment requires the "whole number of persons in each state" to be included in a key set of census numbers used to determine how presidents and members of Congress are elected.” Not that Constitution matters one iota to TOM. Just saying it’s in there. Kinda how they set up this whole system. And if you don’t like the system, there’s a process (set up in the Constitution) to change the system. Legally. Procedurally. Logically. Not hot-headed, we are entitled to 5 seats in Texas based rhetoric.

In other TOM & Co entitled shenanigans, they raised a river for JD Vance to kayak on his birthday. Yup.” Vice President JD Vance’s security detail had an Ohio river’s water level raised last weekend to accommodate a kayaking trip he and his family took to celebrate his 41st birthday.

The U.S. Secret Service said it requested the increased waterflow for the Little Miami River, first reported by The Guardian, to ensure motorized watercraft and emergency personnel “could operate safely” while protecting the Republican vice president, whose home is in Cincinnati.” And the correct response by our Vice Poophead would’ve been to pivot onto a different option for the ole 41st. Who the H actually cares about their 41st birthday. But J Darth is special.  “Richard W. Painter, who served as chief White House ethics lawyer under President George W. Bush, said on X that “it’s outrageous for the Army corps of engineers to spend taxpayer money to increase water flow in a river so @VP can go canoeing when budget cuts to the National Park Service have severely impacted family vacations for everyone else.”  Yes. That.  That would’ve been the correct response. And do something else. Go rollerblading for god’s sake.
