The Dictator is back in rare form. TOM is now actively threatening to penalize the Washington DC franchise of the NFL. Yes, The Commanders. Who changed their name due to the requests and outrage from the Native American community. TOM is now demanding that they return being the Washington Redskins. TOM is actually putting forth the absurd, insulting, and stomach-turning lie that “Indians” want this! ““I may put a restriction on them that if they don’t change the name back to the original ‘Washington Redskins,’ and get rid of the ridiculous moniker, ‘Washington Commanders,’ I won’t make a deal for them to build a Stadium in Washington. The Team would be much more valuable, and the Deal would be more exciting for everyone,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Our great Indian people, in massive numbers, want this to happen. Their heritage and prestige is systematically being taken away from them,” Trump said. “Times are different now than they were three or four years ago. We are a Country of passion and common sense. OWNERS, GET IT DONE!!!”
This speech and rhetoric is truly some of the most insulting, insensitive, and inane that have come out of his mouth in the past seven months. And that’s saying a lot considering the amount of verbal diarrhea he spews daily.
In what could be a teaser for coming attractions across the world, a US citizen working for Wells Fargo in China has been prevented from leaving. Is there a legitimate case against this woman or is this the beginning of a tit for tat on the tariff tirade TOM is unleashing across the globe? “Ms. Mao Chenyue is involved in a criminal case being handled by Chinese authorities, who have lawfully imposed exit restrictions on her,” Guo Jiakun, a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said Monday following a regular press conference.
It’s not clear the target of the criminal case, nor how Mao is believed to be linked to it.
“According to Chinese law, the case is under investigation, and Ms. Mao is temporarily unable to leave the country and is obligated to cooperate with the investigation,” the spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. News of the exit ban placed on the Wells Fargo banker comes as a Chinese American man working for the Commerce Department has been prevented from leaving the country, according to the Washington Post.
The Commerce Department employee, working in the agency’s Patent and Trademark Office, was visiting family in China several months ago and failed to disclose on his visa application that he worked for the US government, the Post reported.” Keep an eye on this one as I’m sure it’s not the last of this type of “retribution” we will see.
