TOM and Co are swinging a big bat today. Fourteenth Amendment. Birthright citizenship. Yes, that amendment that was ratified by the states and has been around for 157 years, is well, just simply not right. That’s not what the authors of the amendment meant. Not really. They didn’t mean that anyone born here is a US citizen (like every other country in the world as well). Sauer, the solicitor general for the US (and who has a horrible voice to listen to) argued that what the 14th amendment was intended to only be related to slaves. WHAT? Because he interviewed the authors? Justice Kagan was equally as gobsmacked about the gall of DOJ. "If I were in your shoes, there's no way I'd approach the court with this case!" Kagan quipped.” Clearly, she, as well as most of the rest of us see only the flat tire that all of TOM’s frivolous case are making in the turning of judicial wheels.
TOM had just a super opening act for his world premiere in Qatar. ‘When President Donald Trump addressed U.S. and Qatari troops at a military base in Qatar on Thursday, he assured the rank and file that “we don’t care if you’re politically correct.”
And here we gooooooo. That gave license to Theo Von to unleash his own special vitriol and hatred.
“Anyone needing proof of that could have watched comedian Theo Von’s routine just a little earlier. Wearing a black T-shirt and backward baseball cap, the podcast host regaled the uniformed troops with jokes about drugs, developmental disabilities, homosexuality and their Qatari hosts.
He talked about snorting cocaine off a baby’s back but said it was “a mixed baby” so the white powder was visible on the baby’s skin.
Von acted out various disabilities, including Down syndrome, and he insulted the U.S. Navy as “gay.” He also had a punchline about terrorism attacks, asking, “Where do you think the next 9/11 should happen?”
He joked about the lack of crime in Qatar, where he said it would be impossible to identify a perpetrator because everyone is named Mohammed and dresses in the same white robes. They were like a “Ku Klux Sandsman,” Von said. “
There. Are. No. Words. And this is the crux of what is slowly becoming the downfall of this (once great) nation. There are no more rules. “Without rules, we are nothing but animals.” Couldn’t have said it better myself, Soctates.
