Irony is never lost on me with TOM’ actions. He is the greatest opportunist our country has ever seen. We’ve never seen anything like it ever. One moment he hates something and it has to go. The next he figures out a way it will further his wealth, I mean demonic intentions, I mean agenda and it’s the best thing since sliced bread came along. Case in point today: TOM is now going to the mat with The Gods (i.e. the Supremes) over OBAMACARE! Yup. True story. TOM’s DOJ is going to SCOTUS to uphold parts of the ACA. “President Donald Trump’s Justice Department is defending the Affordable Care Act before the Supreme Court – a notable contrast to his first term, when his administration sought to repeal the law in Congress and then refused to defend it in a major challenge brought by GOP-led states.” Let me refresh your memory on this.
“The very day President Trump was sworn in — Jan. 20, 2017 — he signed an executive order instructing administration officials ‘to waive, defer, grant exemptions from, or delay’ implementing parts of the Affordable Care Act, while Congress got ready to repeal and replace President Obama’s signature health law.”
But like any slimy conniver worth their weight in crapola, TOM now finds the wording of certain parts of the ACA to be to his liking and useful in destroying the very things that Obama had in mind protecting when the act was signed into law. “But a win for the federal government in the current case, concerning the law’s mandates that certain preventive services are covered cost-free, could boost the power that Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has in shaping those requirements.” Oh yay. Let’s give more power to a man who has zero qualifications to oversee his own health let alone that of 345 million people.
TOM has got to rein in his admin’s itchy trigger finger when it comes to pressing send. In another “huh, well what do you know?” moment, it appears the diatribe of demands e-mailed to Harvard on April 11, is yet another in a line of whoopsie communications. “Harvard University has been in an escalating battle with the Trump administration heightened last week by a letter it received from the administration that outlined a slew of demands tied to federal funding – like reforming its curriculum and admissions programs, discontinuing DEI practices and additional policy demands. But the letter should not have been sent and was “unauthorized,” The New York Times reported, citing two unnamed people familiar with the matter. There were differing accounts inside the Trump administration on how the letter had been mishandled, with some at the White House believing it had been sent prematurely and others thinking it wasn’t meant to be sent at all, the Times reported.” The amount of finger pointing in this admin is verging on ridiculous. It passed embarrassing long ago. Wonder who will get sacked for this one? Tweedle Dee or Tweedle Dum? I have a hard time keeping track of which is which in this admin.
