Ok, first, The Pope died. And while this is not directly related to TOM’s House, I will point out that the last person to have a meeting with The Pope was…..J Darth Vader Vance. Really. That’s how the poor man had to spend his last day. (Some might see this as a sign) Anyway. Moving on….
The first victim of the trade war with China – Boeing. “A Boeing jet intended for use by a Chinese airline landed back at the planemaker’s U.S. production hub on Saturday, a victim of the tit-for-tat bilateral tariffs launched by President Donald Trump in his global trade offensive. The 737 MAX, which was meant for China’s Xiamen Airlines, landed at Seattle’s Boeing Field at 6:11 p.m., according to a Reuters witness. It was painted with Xiamen livery. China has imposed a 125% tariff on U.S. goods. A Chinese airline taking delivery of a Boeing jet could be crippled by the tariffs, given that a new 737 MAX has a market value of around $55 million, according to IBA, an aviation consultancy.” That math tracks to $123,750,000. Gonna bet that was a solid “no thank you” on China’s part. Return to sender. I wonder if they had to call Boeing and get a RA number first? And are shipping costs included? And how do we even figure re-stocking costs on that one?
This doesn’t even get a snarky intro…..“Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth shared detailed plans about a military operation against the Houthis in Yemen on a second Signal group chat that included his wife, lawyer and brother, three people familiar with the chat told CNN.
The revelation comes as some of Hegseth’s closest advisers have begun sounding the alarm about the secretary’s judgment, including his former press secretary, John Ullyot, and three former senior officials Hegseth fired last week — his top adviser Dan Caldwell, deputy chief of staff Darin Selnick, and Colin Carroll, who served as chief of staff to the deputy secretary of defense.”
Oh
My
God!!!!
Fire the f’ing moron before he gets us all killed. For the love of all that is red, white, and blue.
Finally we have the absolute proof that The Supremes are NOT a non-partisan body. It could not be more clear than from the dissenting opinion written by Alito over the weekend that the ultimate arbiter of all laws and their enforcement under the Constitution is filled with TOM sycophants. “Conservative Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito used a scathing weekend dissent to criticize his colleagues for a temporary order issued hours earlier that halted President Donald Trump from deporting a group of Venezuelans under the Alien Enemies Act. “Literally in the middle of the night, the court issued unprecedented and legally questionable relief without giving the lower courts a chance to rule, without hearing from the opposing party, within eight hours of receiving the application, with dubious factual support for its order, and without providing any explanation for its order,” Alito wrote in a dissent that was joined by Justice Clarence Thomas.”
It Can’t Happen Here” folks. Oh but it is. It is. “The novel depicts Windrip (the fascist president) appointing loyal followers to the judiciary, effectively making them subservient to his regime.” Though he didn’t appoint Alito and Thomas, it couldn’t be more clear that they were influential in getting him elected. NOTE: both wives were heavily involved in the campaign.
Last piece of joy, which is now just same sh$$, different day,….the stock market tanked. Again. Keep adding those years of working past retirement people, because someone lit a match to your 401K.
