“Whoops, my bad.” Seems to have been the sentiment about the mass firings (more than 300) of NNSA (National Nuclear Security Admin) employees.  On a Thursday. Before a long weekend. “I didn’t think I would be fired until it happened,” (an) employee said, adding NNSA’s workforce initially believed they would be exempt from the executive orders and memos that focused on cutting the overall number of federal workers. Those memos “all had a national security exemption, and we thought surely the NNSA with national security in the name would be exempt,” the employee said. Oh silly boy, that would have implied the use of logic. When it’s blitzkrieg, there is no time for double-checking if the target is right or wrong.

And for today’s dose of TOM’s gaslighting……Ukraine started the war. Yes. Read that sentence again. Don’t you remember? Three years ago. They just up and launched themselves into Russian territory. For. What. Exactly? “You should’ve ended it after three years. You should’ve never started it. You could’ve made a deal,” Trump said in the context of comments about Ukraine wanting to be involved in talks in Saudi Arabia.’ Anyone else making the “huh” emoji face? Cuuuuuzzzz I’m pretty sure we all saw the Russian tanks invading Ukraine.

“Do as I say, not as I do.” Might as well have been the quote from TOM as he spent the day golfing IN FLORIDA whilst proselytizing about the sloth of those who work from home.  “There’s a whole big, oh, you can work from home,” Trump said. “Nobody’s going to work from a home. They’re going to be going out. They’re going to play tennis. They’re going to play golf. They’re going to do a lot of things. They’re not working.”  Right.  Lazy, no-good freeloaders.

And if TOM didn’t have enough other country’s business to stick his fat fingers into, he might want to check in on the family at home. The boys are feuding. “Steve Bannon attacked Elon Musk in an interview with British outlet Unherd published Tuesday, criticizing Musk’s power and calling him “a parasitic illegal immigrant”—escalating the feud between one of President Donald Trump’s key advisers and his one-time campaign chief Bannon.” And “In an interview with Ross Douthat of The New York Times that aired Jan. 31, Bannon described Musk as a “hard-core technofeudalist”—which Bannon described as “transhumanists” who do not value humans for being humans but rather see everything as “digital”—and said he is “not with us when it comes to the little guy” and doesn’t believe in this country.” Oh my God, he has fabulous insults. I need to study up a little with Bannon and up my game.
