You thought MAGA was a low as we could go, didn’t you? Well move over white-bread MAGA because there’s a new bottom feeder in town……DARK MAGA. Musky unveiled his new head topper at the annual conservative R meetup, CPAC.  “Musk was an unexpected guest of honor at the Conservative Political Action Conference, with his appearance announced hours before he took the stage wielding a chainsaw.” On his head, a black version of TOM’s MAGA ballcap. But back to the chainsaw. That’s the best visual he could come up with?  I hope he has the guards down on the blade so it doesn’t take off his leg.

“Colin McEvers, a 19-year old who voted for Trump, admires Vice President JD Vance and praised Musk’s business acumen, said he was concerned about Musk’s growing power in the federal government and the decline of regulations that were protecting workers from big corporations.” Ah the wisdom of youth. Good grief. Yah just a little concern over that conflict of interest thing.

German elections went off without a hitch (so far). And “Friedrich Merz, who will most likely become Germany’s next chancellor, says his absolute priority is “to create unity in Europe” — especially against the background of what’s happening in the United States and Russia.
Merz says: “I have no illusions at all about what is happening from America. Take a look at the recent interventions in the German election campaign by Mr. Elon Musk.”
He adds that “the interventions from Washington were no less dramatic and drastic and ultimately outrageous than the interventions we have seen from Moscow. So we are under such massive pressure from two sides that my absolute priority now is really to create unity in Europe.” As I mentioned after Darth Vance made his nearly pro-Nazi remarks, back a country into a corner and live with the consequences. Funny how “right leaning parties” in other countries now look so reasonable and centrist. Perspective is everything. And we here in the US have a perspective on flagrant disregard for ethical, moral, and legal action taken by those in the governing seats of our nation.
