It’s just so embarrassing. TOM should just walk around with a hat that says “I’m a bully and you’ll have to deal with it. “U.S. President Donald Trump suggested Friday that he may punish countries with tariffs if they don’t back the U.S. controlling Greenland, a message that came as a bipartisan Congressional delegation sought to lower tensions in the Danish capital.
Trump for months has insisted that the U.S. should control Greenland, a semiautonomous territory of NATO ally Denmark, and said earlier this week that anything less than the Arctic island being in U.S. hands would be “unacceptable.”
During an unrelated event at the White House about rural health care, he recounted Friday how he had threatened European allies with tariffs on pharmaceuticals.
“I may do that for Greenland too,” Trump said. “I may put a tariff on countries if they don’t go along with Greenland, because we need Greenland for national security. So I may do that,” he said.” For the actual love of God. It’s not yours to make demands over and he’s acting like a street thug running a corner, extorting money from shopkeepers so they don’t get robbed by the very people “protecting” them. The fact that the Europeans and the rest of the world continue to try to “negotiate” like normal, civil, sane people is baffling to me. Just tell him to F off. Like the Mayor of Minneapolis.
The biggest embarrassment and insult to all that is dignified and respected was Maria Machado giving her Nobel Peace Prize medal to TOM! O M G. Puke emoji. Puke emoji. The Nobel Committee should, for the first time in history, strip her (him) of that medal. The pandering to him so that he will “put” her in place as the leader of Venezuela is gag inducing. Well TOM can be sure now that he will never officially receive the actual Nobel Peace Prize. Because those Norwegians are going to be burning little effigies of him for years to come. “The committee that awards the Nobel Prize said Friday that the physical symbols of the prize — a medal and diploma — can be given away, but the honor itself is “inseparably linked” to the winner. “Even if the medal or diploma later comes into someone else’s possession, this does not alter who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.”
