Missed out on this gem on Xmas. TOM wishing all of us radical left scum a Merry Christmas. How thoughtful of him to include us in his holiday statement. How presidential. How inclusive. A$$hat. “President Trump knocked his political opponents as “Radical Left Scum” in a Christmas message in which he boasted about his administration’s accomplishments during the first year of his second term.
“Merry Christmas to all, including the Radical Left Scum that is doing everything possible to destroy our Country, but are failing badly,” Trump wrote Wednesday in on the social platform X. Last year, he used his Christmas post to tell 37 people whose death sentences were commuted by the Biden administration to “GO TO HELL,” saying, “I refuse to wish a Merry Christmas to those lucky ‘souls.’” Know what buddy? Back. At. You. Times 100.
What I wished for this year from Santa? That he would give TOM grammar lessons. The desire I have to take a red pencil to every one of his posts and blabberings is just this side of obsessive. I often miss (part of) the content for the distraction of the Capitalization. And failing badly. (yes, that was meant to be an incomplete sentence).
What an odd juxtaposition next year will be. 2026. Our 250th anniversary. I am excited and feel lucky to have been born when I was so that I could witness our bicentennial as well as this. BUT. BIIIIG BUT. How will it be desecrated and disgraced by TOM & Co.? A cage fight on the WH lawn would be the kick off. That idea is still being kicked around as I recall. Patriot Games – for “the youth.” Because we wouldn’t want the adults to have all the fun in the fighting and maiming department. Yes, really, it is The Hunger Games right here in our own backyard. Roving State Fair. I might be able to get on board with that one. But I can see already that it will get bastardized and hijacked into some crazy campaigning trip across the US. What better way to get your political advertising paid for than by hiding it behind the façade of a country-wide celebration. I can see it now. TOM claims that “everyone” showed up to support and say thank you to him for all that he has done to save America (from the radical left scum). Maybe there will even be another fake assassination attempt.
