The US got a little more blue last night. And no one but TOM is sad

Nov 5, 2025 (289/1461)

The country got a little more blue yesterday. And I don’t mean sad. Well unless you’re TOM. Virginia’s governor, lieutenant gov both went Dem. As did the NY gov (all women, BTW) and Mamdani won NYC. Now that one is going to be one to watch. A socialist as the leader of the largest city in our country. Free everything for everyone! So first, yet more women will be leading this effort. (Why has it taken so long to figure out that women are the key solving the TOM problem?) “Zohran Mamdani said five women would lead the team, including two former City Hall officials and a former Federal Trade Commission chair. Mr. Mamdani campaigned on a promise to reshape the social contract between government and its citizens, vowing to raise taxes on the wealthy, freeze rents on stabilized apartments and reduce child care costs.

On Wednesday, Mr. Mamdani doubled down on his campaign message. “My first day at City Hall will look like my last day,” he said. “It will be focused on the cost of living crisis. It will be focused on delivering for the New Yorkers who have been priced out of this city.” Mr. Mamdani said that he was prepared to confront President Trump in court if he attempted to harm the city. “His threats are inevitable,” and they’re about intimidation, Mr. Mamdani said of the president on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” in his first televised interview since winning the election.” We shall see. Me thinks he doth underestimate the wrath and evil of TOM. But let’s go, buddy. I’m cheering for you.

In my home state, Newsom fought back against Tejas and won. “California Republicans filed a federal lawsuit Wednesday to block a new U.S. House map that California voters decisively approved at the ballot.

Proposition 50, backed by Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom, is designed to help Democrats flip as many as five congressional House seats in the midterm elections next year. The lawsuit claims the map-makers illegally used race as a factor to favor Hispanic voters, and asks the court to block the new boundaries ahead of the 2026 elections. The complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.” Seems the poor Rs in Cali (yes, we have several) don’t like it when the game gets switched up on them.

In what could be a total coup, the Supremes are examining whether TOM broke the law with his tariffs. “The Supreme Court is considering whether the president acted legally when he used a 1977 emergency statute to impose tariffs on scores of countries. A majority of Supreme Court justices on Wednesday asked skeptical questions about President Trump’s use of emergency powers to impose tariffs on imports from nearly every U.S. trading partner, casting doubt on a centerpiece of the administration’s second-term agenda.

The outcome of the case, which could be decided within weeks or months, has immense economic and political implications for U.S. businesses, consumers and the president’s trade policy.

Several members of the court’s conservative majority, including Justice Amy Coney Barrett and Justice Neil M. Gorsuch, joined the liberal justices in sharply questioning the Trump administration’s assertion that it has the power to unilaterally impose tariffs without congressional approval. Several justices also noted that Mr. Trump was the first president to claim that the 50-year-old emergency statute allowed the president to impose tariffs.” If you all turn the tide on TOM, then there is actually the slightest bit of hope that reason and sanity might still be able to return to our country fraught with lunacy.

TOM thinks he's living in Minority Report (and wants to kill the pre-cogs)

Dec 14, 2025 (328/1461) TOM appears to be living out Minority Report in real life. He has the audacity to tell the ICC that there will...
