So apparently TOM is keeping the gov shutdown so that we can funnel all the money to the Dept of WAR and ravage places like Venezuela and now Nigeria! “President Donald Trump on Saturday threatened U.S. military intervention in Nigeria and the withholding of all foreign aid if its government continues “to allow the killing of Christians.”
Trump said in a post to social media that if Nigeria does not halt the persecution of Christians he may send U.S. troops “guns-a-blazing” to “completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.” Guns. A. Blazing?? He really does think he’s part of a global reality show. “I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action,” he wrote. “If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians!” “Our” cherished Christians. Excuse me. Whose country is it and do we really believe this is happening? Because TOM says it’s so, then we are meant to believe it. Insert puke emoji.
And a last reminder – the no more wars campaigner is fomenting all of this.
The re-writing of US history continues. Let’s bring back the worst of the worst! “The National Park Service announced in August that it would reinstall a statue of Confederate general Albert Pike that was torn down in June 2020, and last week it did just that. The Trump administration has made moves to reinstall similar statues that have been removed throughout the years.
There had been opposition to the statue of Pike, a slave owner who was said to be “instrumental” in forming the Ku Klux Klan, for years, The Washington Post reported. The Washington, D.C. Council first petitioned the federal government to remove it in 1992. Other Confederate monuments have seen similar calls to be taken down. Earlier this year, President Donald Trump signed an executive order to restore these monuments, which he said “remind Americans of our extraordinary heritage, consistent progress toward becoming a more perfect Union, and unmatched record of advancing liberty, prosperity and human flourishing.”
As part of this, the “Reconciliation Monument,” a statue once removed from Arlington National Cemetery that honors Confederate Soldiers, is set to be returned in 2027 after a $10 million refurbishment.” We’re honoring the people who besmirched exactly why this country was built. Awesome. Let’s see how the next 250 goes with this starting gun.
