Annnnd the vote has happened. Now we wait….again…..to see what might come out in The Files if the act becomes law. The Senate will now have to also vote to release them. “The House nearly unanimously approved a bill that would require the Justice Department to release files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, voting 427-1 to pass the legislation after months of stalling from GOP leaders. The bill, known as the Epstein Files Transparency Act, would compel the Justice Department to publicly release files related to Epstein and his co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell within 30 days of it being signed into law, with some exceptions for survivors' personal information and other sensitive material. GOP leaders in the Senate have not committed to bringing the bill to the floor, leaving its prospects unclear.” And sooooo. We. Wait.

The Saudi Crown Prince. “President Donald Trump on Tuesday dismissed U.S. intelligence findings that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman likely had some culpability in the 2018 killing of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi as Trump warmly welcomed the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia on his first White House visit in seven years. Trump in his defense of the crown prince derided Khashoggi as “extremely controversial” and said “a lot of people didn’t like that gentleman.” Prince Mohammed denies involvement in the killing of Khashoggi, who was a Saudi citizen and Virginia resident.” A lot of people didn’t like that gentleman…..Dude, we say the same thing about you but none of thinks you should be killed! TOM doesn’t even know who he was and why his killing was so significant. And so blatant.
