That ripping sound you hear is not lightning tearing across the sky, it is a rent in the fabric of MAGA. “When President Donald Trump addressed Congress earlier this year, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was there holding an American flag and wearing a red baseball cap that said “Trump was right about everything.” Their alliance didn’t last the year. Now it has fractured in an explosive feud that could foreshadow more rifts within Trump’s “Make America Great Again” movement before next year’s midterm elections.
In recent weeks, Greene has escalated her criticism of Trump’s focus on foreign policy over what she has said should be an agenda that concentrates on Americans, as well as his reluctance to release more documents involving the Jeffrey Epstein case. On Friday, the Republican president said he would support a primary challenge against the Georgia congresswoman. Trump has successfully stamped out other challenges to his power over the years, but Greene is not backing down. She even suggested that she, not Trump, may be the true champion of the “America First” agenda.
“I believe in the American people more than I believe in any leader or political party and the American people deserve so much better than how they have been treated by both sides of the aisle,” she wrote in her own post Saturday.” I have to hand it to her. She is actually using several tried and true TOM tactics. She’s been claiming she fears for her safety – from those crazy TOM supporters. Conveniently forgetting that she shone the brightest light on TOM when he won. And verting to the “I’m for you – Americans” rhetoric.
The latest War From Within in Charlotte has seen similar decimation to that witnessed in Chicago and LA. “A top Border Patrol commander touted dozens of arrests in North Carolina’s largest city on Sunday as Charlotte residents reported encounters with federal immigration agents near churches, apartment complexes and stores.
The Trump administration has made the Democratic city of about 950,000 people its latest target for an immigration enforcement surge it says will combat crime, despite fierce objections from local leaders and down trending crime rates. The effort was dubbed “Operation Charlotte’s Web” as a play on the title of a famous children’s book that isn’t about North Carolina.” That’s just plain sick. Sick sick sick. And you know Bloviatino thought this was super clever and witty. “But the flurry of activity immediately prompted fears and questions, including where detainees would be held, how long the operation would last and what agents’ tactics — criticized elsewhere as aggressive and racist — would look like in North Carolina. On Saturday, at least one U.S. citizen said he was thrown to the ground and briefly detained.”
What a banner week – again – for the good ole US of A. It just gets more and more embarrassing to say that you are an American citizen. The thunder you hear is the Founding Fathers pounding broomstick handles on the sky above our heads. “Knock it off, you blockheads!”
