Is Putin going to punk TOM at "war" meeting?

Aug 13, 2025 (205/1461)

So it appears the pattern is TOM gets intimidated by a world leader who might embarrass him publicly, or senses that he does not have the upper hand in a situation and then makes outrageous declarations and threats. “U.S. President Donald Trump said Wednesday that there will be “very severe consequences” if Russian President Vladimir Putin doesn’t agree to stop his war in Ukraine after their Friday summit in Alaska, though he did not say what those consequences might be.

Trump’s comment came after attending a virtual meeting with European leaders, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who told the group that Putin “is bluffing” about seeking peace. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said the European leaders had a “constructive and good” discussion with Trump.”

Several other commentators have surmised a similar not in good faith environment with Putin. “Putin needs to buy time to change the trajectory of the conflict. So the former KGB spymaster has given Trump something that the U.S. president has wanted for months: a one-on-one summit to discuss the end of the conflict. Trump leaped at the chance. But as the two men prepare to meet in Alaska on Friday, foreign-policy experts—and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky—are warning that Trump could be walking into a trap that the Russian leader is setting on American soil. “Putin has already won. He is the leader of a rogue state, and he’ll get a picture on U.S. soil with the president of the United States,” John Bolton, one of Trump’s former national security advisers, told me. “Trump wants a deal. And if he can’t get one now, he may walk away from it entirely.” It will be an interesting game of cat and mouse on Friday when they meet. Or will it fall apart if TOM senses he will not get his way and therefore cancels last minute and stays in DC wandering the White House roof watching the National Guard take over “his territory”?

And on that topic, federal agents are now being re-assigned to patrol the (oh so dangerous) street of DC 24/7. “As a wary Washington waited, the White House promised a ramp-up of National Guard troops and federal officers on the streets of the nation’s capital around the clock starting Wednesday, days after President Donald Trump’s unprecedented announcement that his administration would take over the city’s police department for at least a month. In one neighborhood, officers from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the FBI could be seen along with the U.S. Park Police searching the car of a motorist parked just outside a legal parking area to eat takeout and drop off a friend. Two blocks away, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers gathered in a parking lot before driving off on patrol.” It will be interesting to hear reports from the Average Joe on the street about the impact upon their perception of their freedom of movement in the city over the next month. Not the greatest tourist-attracting action in my opinion…..but maybe the MAGA hordes will flood to the now, so-safe DC.

TOM thinks he's living in Minority Report (and wants to kill the pre-cogs)

Dec 14, 2025 (328/1461) TOM appears to be living out Minority Report in real life. He has the audacity to tell the ICC that there will...
