I need a C-collar for the whiplash

Mar 7, 2025 (46/1461)

Friends, I thought I’d make it much farther than day 46 before I called for the 25th amendment. But really. Truly. Lunacy. Annnnnnd TOM is now back, less than 24 hours after saying JKJK to Mex and Canada about tariffs, he threatened 250% (!!!) tariffs on dairy from Canada. What? Like…Huh? I have serious whiplash from the tennis match he keeps trying to win. But it’s like he’s playing with a pickleball paddle and getting no bounce on that return. “Wolf Wolf Wolf!” Keep crying little TOM because pretty soon the rest of the world leaders are going to yawn when you open your yap.

One of the greatest humans to ever walk this earth made a very prescient statement in 1976. “Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter once said: “A strong nation, like a strong person, can afford to be gentle, firm, thoughtful and restrained. It can afford to extend a helping hand to others. It's a weak nation, like a weak person, that must behave with bluster and boasting and rashness and other signs of insecurity.”

Bluster – check

Boast – check

Rashness – check, check and check!

Ergo, by the transitive property, TOM = weak. I mean that many of us didn’t already know this, but I think math backs me up here.

And a head scratcher from the first days of the flurry of nominations to Dept Sec positions, we’re back to confirming Linda “Takedown” McMachon to Sec Ed who is now overseeing dismantling of her own dept. What the actual F is she going to do once she says the eulogy for the Dept? What are we – hard working, tax paying US citizens – going to be expected to pay her to do?

AND FINALLY!!!!  Someone on the inside lost their sh$$ on Musky.  YESSSSS. Rubio has had it with the Bully Billionaire.

“Marco Rubio was incensed. Here he was in the Cabinet Room of the White House, the secretary of state, seated beside the president and listening to a litany of attacks from the richest man in the world.

Seated diagonally opposite, across the elliptical mahogany table, Elon Musk was letting Mr. Rubio have it, accusing him of failing to slash his staff.

You have fired “nobody,” Mr. Musk told Mr. Rubio, then scornfully added that perhaps the only person he had fired was a staff member from Mr. Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency.”

And in the only sign that TOM might have an iota of wisdom, he moderately reined in Musk. “From now on, he said, the secretaries would be in charge; the Musk team would only advise.” We’ll see how that goes. Let’s get the over/under on who blinks first. Musky or TOM? My $$ says Musky tires of TOM’s old game and moves along to Russia on his own….

TOM thinks he's living in Minority Report (and wants to kill the pre-cogs)

Dec 14, 2025 (328/1461) TOM appears to be living out Minority Report in real life. He has the audacity to tell the ICC that there will...
