Before I get to the part where The German Chancellor essentially calls JDarth Vance a Nazi, a little bit of horticulture for all of us. TOM’s resume is getting longer by the day. FFOTUS is still tops. But we’ve now added Head of HR for the entire gov; Chair of the Kennedy Center board and yesterday a real feather in the cap: landscape architect. Apparently TOM misses Mar-a-Lago and it’s smell of paved terraces. So! He’s been a busy boy drawing up plans to rip out The Rose Garden and replace it with a paved over patio. I guess I can give him a little cred for trying to save water. But I think he’s unclear on what xeriscape is. “...the Rose Garden patio space is not, and it has been the subject of almost daily discussions. Mr. Trump has made clear to associates that he wants to recreate the patio experience at Mar-a-Lago, his members-only club and home in Palm Beach, Fla., creating a better space for entertaining guests. We know the man doesn’t sleep, so if he’s out there jammin’ to the Godfather of Soul at 2 a.m. there might an issue. No wonder Melania took a hard pass on co-habitating this go round.
Back to the not so rosy side of things. Vile Vance strutted the stage in Europe bloviating about the ultra-right being denied their right to free speech (“Use of this (the Nazi) salute is illegal in modern-day Germany (Strafgesetzbuch section 86a), Austria, and Slovakia.[7] The use of any Nazi phrases associated with the salute is also forbidden.”). Germany maintains a strong commitment to never again let Germany be led by a fascist who might repeat the horrors of the Holocaust. “A commitment to ‘never again’ is not reconcilable with support for the AfD,” Mr. Scholz said at the conference on Saturday morning, in an address opening the gathering’s second day.” And the Chancellor went on to accuse Vance of interfering in Germany’s upcoming elections. Ohhhhh. Maybe we won’t have to prosecute him in the good ol USofA if he can muck it up enough in Europe. They’ll drag him in and charge him with election interference.
BUT Musky might beat him to the punch. Not to be outdone by any man, the front runner to be elected in Germany has already vowed to bring Elon up on charges of donating illegally to a political party.

When asked whether any government response post election could affect Tesla’s gigafactory near Berlin, Merz said: “I am deliberately leaving the consequences open for now.”
The authorities also needed to look into whether Musk’s support for the AfD qualified as an illegal party donation, Merz said, something transparency organizations had previously hinted at.”
But as smug and eely as both Musky and Vance are, it’s sadly certain that TOM will swoop in to save them by threatening economic devastation to Germany. But a girl can dream, can’t she?
